Students arriving between 8:30-8:45am should enter the school using Door D and report to the gymnasium
Students arriving after 8:45am should enter the student using the main doors.
Only Buses should be in the drop off circle from 8:10-8:55am
Students arriving after 8:55am are considered to be tardy
Now that the Myrtle Gymnasium is up and running, we would like to communicate our dismissal procedures. Please contact the main office with any questions.
3:25- Grades K/1 will begin dismissal
3:30-Walkers will be dismissed out of the front doors; Bus Riders will be dismissed to the gymnasium
3:35-Bus Dismissal will begin
Emergency Contact Reminder
In order to better enhance home/school communication, Myrtle Elementary School District would like to remind all our families to contact the main office with any updates to your student(s) contact list. We would like to ensure that everyone’s most updated emergency contact information is documented in our School Information System (SIS). The SIS not only helps us communicate with our families, but informs our staff of any additional emergency information. For example, students may only be released to individuals listed on the emergency information provided regardless of verbal permission. In addition, we would like to remind all our families that valid identification is required when picking up all students prior to dismissal.
During the winter and cooler fall and spring months, please remember that we will make every effort possible to go outside for recess (weather permitting). Please be sure to send you child to school with appropriate clothing for outdoor recess, including coats, hats and gloves.
