Beginning with the 2023-2024 school year, the Keystone Oaks School District now uses ParentSquare for school communication. Parents/guardians, staff members, middle and high school students, and others will receive important updates and notices via text and email notifications. Push notifications are also available via the ParentSquare app, which is available for download both in the App Store and on Google Play.
ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent/guardian, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents/guardians to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.
ParentSquare will replace SchoolMessenger, the weekly Excellence Newsletter, and Peachjar for flyers that pertain to organizations that are affiliated with the District (clubs and activities, PFOs, and booster groups). ParentSquare will not replace PowerSchool, Google Classroom, or email communication.
You should have received an activation email for your ParentSquare account. Please take a few minutes to activate your account and to verify your contact information. Once you receive the activation email, please utilize these instructions:
Open the invitation email or text. Click Activate your account or tap the link to activate your account.
Create a Password for your ParentSquare account and click Register.
Click Confirm for your phone number and/or email. A verification code will be sent to the email or phone number.
Enter the verification code to confirm.
Confirm your child(ren) by clicking Confirm. Use Not My Child if a child listed is not associated with your account.
Select Yes, This is Me when you have confirmed your contact information and child(ren) associated with your account.
Upon logging in, if there is a misspelled name, incorrect email or phone number, or a child is missing on your account, please reach out to the secretary at the building where your child attends school:

Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
Communicate in your preferred language
