Changes to Board of School Directors' December Meetings
The School Board will hold its annual Reorganization Meeting on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Board Room. During this meeting, the School Board will vote on officers for the next year. There will not be any public comment or discussion of district business. The only voting that will take place is on the officers. 

Both the Work Session Meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 3, 2024 and the Business/Legislative Meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, December 10, 2024, have been canceled. 

The Board of School Directors next Work Session Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

About PowerSchool

PowerSchool is the district's online student information system offering parents and guardians real-time access to grades, attendance, teacher comments and assignments, and other important information. Log in here.

PowerSchool can be accessed from a web browser or free app for iOS and Android devices. Please note: Some PowerSchool features, including report cards, are not available in the app.

Parent Accounts
To create a parent PowerSchool account,  you will need the student's access ID and access password. New students and incoming kindergarten students receive their access ID and access password during the online registration process. If you do not have your access ID, please reach out to the following individuals: 
Once you have your student's access ID and access password, you can create an account by following the steps below. You can also add a new student to an existing PowerSchool account (see below). 

Student Accounts
Students can log in to PowerSchool with the KOSD username and password. In most cases, a student's network username is: Student last name + first name initial + last two digits of graduation year. 

Create a PowerSchool Account
  • Go to the PowerSchool parent portal from any web browser. 
  • Click the "Create Account" tab followed by the "Create Account" button. 
  • Complete the parent and student details using the access ID and access password provided. 
  • When finished, click "Enter" at the bottom of the page. 

Add a student to an existing PowerSchool account
  • Log in to your account from any web browser.
  • Click "Account Preferences" on the left menu. 
  • Click the "Students" tab. 
  • Click "Add" and follow the necessary steps using the new student's access ID and access password. 

PowerSchool Mobile App

Powerschool has a mobile app available in the Apple App Store and Google Play. The Keystone Oaks School District's code, needed to install the app, can be found below the menu when logged into PowerSchool via a web browser.
