The Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors typically meets on the second and third Tuesday of each month. Meetings begin at 7 pm and are held in the Board Room, which is located on the lower level of Keystone Oaks High School at 1000 Kelton Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15216.
The first meeting of the month is the Work Session Meeting, where agenda items are discussed and reviewed. Unless otherwise advertised, voting does not take place at the Work Session Meeting. The second meeting of the month is the Business/Legislative Meeting, where the Board of School Directors vote on agenda items. All meetings are listed on the District calendar on the website.
Agendas for both meetings are posted on the District’s website at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. Once the agenda is posted, it cannot change unless a majority of the Board votes to change the agenda during the public meeting. Both the Work Session and the Business/Legislative Meetings are open to the public and the public is permitted to provide public comment, provided that the individual states their full name and address for the record.
All public comment must be made in-person during the meeting. There are no limits on the number of individuals who may attend the meeting in person. Face masks must be worn properly and at all times during the meeting.
