Click “Enroll my Device.”
Please make sure to choose the 2022-2023 year.
Even if you do not wish to purchase the protection plan, you must click the link and enroll your device and then click the box that you Elect not to participate.
The windows you will see look like the screenshot below, you must select “purchase damage waiver” to get to the next screen where you can decline if you so choose.
For the 2022-2023 school year, there are some changes to the device protection plan. Those changes are listed below along with a review of what the plan covers:
The cost for the protection plan is $20 per device.
The protection plan is optional but highly recommended. You must enroll to receive a device but you can decline the protection plan if you wish to do so.
Purchasing the protection plan will cover three incidents at no additional cost. This includes accidental damage (dropped or liquid damage), a broken screen, a broken keyboard, and a lost charger.
- The protection plan will no longer cover replacement styluses for any cause (loss, damage, failure)
If you purchase the protection plan and the device is lost or stolen you will pay $100 to get a replacement device.
If you choose not to purchase the plan and the device is lost or stolen, a parent or guardian will be responsible for the full cost of the device, which is $335.
If you choose not to purchase the plan and the device is damaged you will be responsible for the cost to replace what is broken (screen, keyboard, top/bottom cover, charger)
We encourage you to purchase the device protection before the end of the school year as this will assist in our planning efforts as we prepare for the 2022-2023 school year.
