The duty of the Myrtle Avenue PFO is to support and enhance the academic needs of the students through cooperation with the staff and to help the parents navigate their children’s educational experience.

We sponsor Assemblies, Holiday Shop, Field Trips, Staff Appreciation, Student Planners, and Myrtle T-shirts, for example, through the organization of fundraisers. How to Volunteer

There are a many ways to get involved and to help for as much time as you can offer.
  • VOLUNTEER your time at School events.
  • DONATE baked goods, raffle items, etc.
  • PARTICIPATE as a chaperone for field trips and at homeroom parties SERVE on a committee or as a board member.

2016-2017 Meeting Dates

The Myrtle Elementary PFO will hold their meetings on the 3rd Monday each month, starting September 19, 2016. Meetings will begin at 7 p.m. in the large cafeteria at Myrtle.
