Seven 6th grade students were recognized as finalists in the Highmark Caring Place’s 7th Annual Children’s Grief Awareness Day Poster Contest. This year’s theme was “Be Kind” and students were asked to design a poster that illustrated how even the smallest act of kindness can help someone who is grieving.
These seven students volunteered to participate in this year’s poster contest and worked with KOMS Art Teacher Mrs. Hallam during their daily access period:
