Welcome Students, Parents and the Keystone Oaks Community,
The beginning of the 2024/2025 school year is upon us. I hope you have enjoyed your summer and that you are ready to start a new school year. This is an exciting time for everyone - from our new kindergarten students to our high school seniors, who are beginning their last year at Keystone Oaks.
The first day of school for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade will be on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Kindergarten students will follow a modified scheduled for the first four days of the school year:
Thursday, August 22; Friday, August 23; and Monday, August 26, kindergarten students will be dismissed at 12:30 pm. The students will eat lunch at school before they are dismissed. Transportation will be available on these days.
Tuesday, August 27, 2024, will be Kindergarten Orientation Day for parents/guardians at 9:30 am. Parents/guardians will attend orientation with their child at the building where their child attends school.
Wednesday, August 28, 2024, will be the first full day of school for kindergarten students.
Our focus for this school year is to provide every child with the best educational experiences that will prepare them to become life-long learners and that will develop their knowledge and skills to be successful beyond Keystone Oaks. To do this, our students must have the fundamental knowledge but then must be given opportunities to apply that knowledge through real-life experiences. Our goal is to meet every student’s needs while preparing them for their future.
I am looking forward to seeing our students back in the classrooms. My best wishes for a successful school year that will provide the best opportunities for students to grow and explore their potential through engaging educational experiences that are meaningful to each student’s life and learning.
Welcome Back!
William P. Stropkaj, Ed.D
