The Keystone Oaks School District will begin online instruction on, Monday, March 30, 2020. The District has recently received guidelines from the Pennsylvania Department of Education that require school districts to track students' daily attendance during the time that school buildings are closed but when students are participating in online instruction.
Beginning Monday, March 30, 2020, students or a parent/guardian will be required to fill out a form every school day to indicate that the student is participating in online instruction for the day. One form must be completed for each student. Additionally, the form must be completed before 12 p.m. in order for that day's attendance to count. Please note that the work does not need to be completed before noon, but the student must indicate that they are "here" and will be completing work for the day.
The forms that need to be filled out are available below. You will use the same form every day.
If there are extenuating circumstances that prohibit a student from participating, we ask that you email your building principal and/or school counselor to explain why the student will not be participating. Email is the preferred method of contact as all administrators are working remotely and can respond to emails in a timely manner.
