Karen Brown Appointed as Interim Principal at Myrtle Elementary

At their Business/Legislative Meeting on August 16, 2016, the Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors voted to appoint Mrs. Karen Brown as the Interim Principal at Myrtle Elementary School through November 2016, tentatively, during the absence of Mr. Arcuri.

Mrs. Brown was an educator in the Upper St. Clair School District, where she held the positions of elementary teacher, middle school teacher and administrator. Mrs. Brown worked as an Acting Principal at Myrtle Elementary School in 2014.

"I know that she will get the school year off to a great start and that she will work with the professional staff at Myrtle Elementary to continue to provide a supportive, safe, and nurturing educational environment for all students at Myrtle Elementary School," said Dr. William Stropkaj, Superintendent.
