Keystone Oaks students take home top honors at History Bowl competition

History Bowl 2018

On October 18, three teams of Keystone Oaks students took home first, second and third place during the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's annual History Bowl at the Heinz History Center!

Middle School 6th grade students Ian Bickel, Caroline Burns and Fiona Curran earned 1st place.

Earning 2nd place were 5th grade students Alayna McGuire, Addi White, Randen Eury, and Bryce Altenbaugh.

Middle School 8th graders Jackson Kletter, Gavin Fehl, Andrew Palmer, and Bahktiyor Alimov earned 3rd place.

The History Bowl challenges participants to find answers to questions, think and write creatively, and practice problem solving abilities as they explore the museum's exhibits.

Congratulations to all of our student participants and to Mr. Colf, Mr. Kopper and Mr. Sieg for giving students this opportunity.
