Electronic Report Cards to be Utilized for Grades 3-5

Starting with the third report period for the 2015-2016 school year, Keystone Oaks will utilize electronic report card delivery for elementary students in grades 3, 4 & 5. The first electronic report cards will be delivered on Monday, April 4, 2016.

Report cards will be sent as a PDF attachment directly to parents/guardians’ e-mail addresses that are on file in the PowerSchool system. This is the same system that families can use to view current grades, course schedules, etc. You will not be required to log in to PowerSchool to view the report cards; you will be able to open the PDF attachment on any computer or electronic device where you can access your e-mail.

The file will be sent using a secure system, ensuring that a student’s report card is only sent to the e-mail addresses linked to that student in PowerSchool. Sending report cards via this method will allow the District to save thousands of dollars annually on the cost of printing and mailing and will allow for a more timely delivery of student grades.

Please note that students in kindergarten, as well as those in 1st and 2nd grade, will still receive report cards in paper form. Everyone will receive their report card on the same day. If you have any questions or feedback regarding the electronic report cards, please contact your building principal:

• Mr. Joe Arcuri, Myrtle Avenue Elementary, [email protected], 412-571-6137
• Mr. Mark Iampietro, Fred L. Aiken Elementary, [email protected], 412-571-6240
• Mr. Brian Werner, Dormont Elementary, [email protected], 412-571-6152

In advance, we thank you for your cooperation as we implement this new system of delivering report cards.
