Keystone Oaks Seeking Community Volunteers to Lead Classroom Projects, Discussions
Keystone Oaks School District is developing a database of people that live in and around the community who may be able to assist the District in a number of ways, including:
- talking to students about your career
- demonstrating a unique talent or skill during a class (examples: a photographer who can give tips to the yearbook staff, a chef who can lead a lesson during a foods class, an engineer who lead a STEAM workshop for elementary students)
- connecting the school district with other community resources. For example, do you work for a non-profit organization or college/university that has resources that could benefit Keystone Oaks' students? Or, perhaps there is a project that students can work on that would benefit your organization.
If you fit into one of these categories, we would like to hear from you! Please fill out this form with as much information as possible and someone from the District will follow up with you. Your information will not be shared or sold. Please also note that you may be required to obtain appropriate clearances, which can be done for free for anyone who is volunteering and has lived in Pennsylvania for the past 10 consecutive year.
In advance, thank you for responding and for offering to share your time and talent with the Keystone Oaks School District!
