March 2026 Calendar Notes & Spring Break Details 📆

A calendar for March 2026 shows the days of the week and dates, with circles around the 9th and 27th.
Please see below for several important calendar notes for the month of March, as well as a reminder of the Keystone Oaks School District’s Spring Break: 

  • Monday, March 9, 2026: Scheduled two-hour delay for Keystone Oaks students. On this day, staff members will participate in professional development.

    Students who attend Parkway West Career and Technology Center and Mon Valley School will be transported to those schools according to their regular schedule. Upon arrival at Keystone Oaks High School, students will report to the library until the bell rings to transition to Eagle Time 2 at 11:47 a.m. 


  • Friday, March 27, 2026: No school for Keystone Oaks Students. This is a professional development day for staff in the morning and clerical time in the afternoon; there are no classes for students on this day. All Keystone Oaks schools and Central Administration will be open during regular business hours on Friday, March 27, 2026. Classes will resume for students on Monday, March 30, 2026. 


Students who attend Parkway West CTC and Mon Valley School will be transported to those schools and returned to their bus stop.


  • Thursday, April 2, 2026: Spring Break will begin with an early dismissal for students.  The Keystone Oaks School District will be closed through Monday, April 6. Classes and regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. 


The early dismissal times for each building for Thursday, April 2, 2026 are: 

  • Middle School and High School - 11:00 a.m.

  • Dormont Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.

  • Fred L. Aiken Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.

  • Myrtle Avenue Elementary School - 11:45 a.m.


Parkway West CTC students do not have classes on Thursday, April 2. Parkway students may ride the same bus that they are assigned to for the afternoon. If you have questions about your bus stop or time, please contact Matthews Bus Garage at 412-341-8288. Upon arrival at Keystone Oaks High School, students will report to the library until period 4. Students may also arrive via their own transportation and should arrive at Keystone Oaks High School by 9:10 a.m.  for their 4th period class, which begins at 9:15 a.m. 


Mon Valley School students also do not have classes on Thursday, April 2. Matthews Bus Company will provide transportation for Mon Valley School students, with an anticipated arrival at Keystone Oaks High School at 9:10 a.m. Matthews will be contacting these families directly with transportation times for April 2.
