Keystone Oaks' elementary schools, middle school, and high school will host a variety of back to school events for students and families. More details will be provided in the next few weeks.
- Thursday, August 18 - Tours for new students in grades 1-5 (parents/guardians are welcome to attend). Tours will be offered at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at each elementary school.
- Tuesday, August 23 - Sixth Grade & New Student Orientation (parents/guardians are invited to attend). Beginning at 9 a.m. Transportation will be provided for students who are unable to attend with a parent/guardian.
- Tuesday, August 23 - Ninth Grade & New Student Orientation. Beginning at 11:15 a.m.
- Wednesday, August 24 - Keystone Oaks Middle School Back to School Night, sponsored by the Middle School PFO.
- Thursday, August 25 - Aiken Elementary Back to School Picnic & Meet the Teacher Event, sponsored by the Aiken Elementary School PFO. Begins at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, August 25 - Dormont Elementary Back to School & Meet the Teacher Event, sponsored by the Dormont Elementary School PFO. Begins at 6 p.m.
- Thursday, August 25 - Myrtle Avenue Elementary Back to School Food Trucks & Meet the Teacher Event. Begins at 6 p.m.
Kindergarten Orientation & Transition Week
During the first week of school, there is a modified schedule for all kindergarten students:
Monday, August 29 - No school for kindergarten students
Tuesday, August 30 - Kindergarten Orientation (for students and a guardian). 9:30 a.m. at each elementary building.
Wednesday, August 31 - Kindergarten Early Dismissal (Aiken - 12:30 p.m.; Dormont - 12:45 p.m.; Myrtle - 12:15 p.m.)
Thursday, September 1 - Kindergarten Early Dismissal (Aiken - 12:30 p.m.; Dormont - 12:45 p.m.; Myrtle - 12:15 p.m.)
Friday, September 2 - Kindergarten Early Dismissal (Aiken - 12:30 p.m.; Dormont - 12:45 p.m.; Myrtle - 12:15 p.m.)
Tuesday, September 6 - First Full Day of School for Kindergarten
