The Pennsylvania Department of Education has extended the free meals in schools program for the duration of the 2021-2022 school year. At Keystone Oaks, our Summer Food Service Program will end on Friday, August 20, 2021 and we will resume a new program with the first day of school on Monday, August 30, 2021.
Please note the following changes that will be in effect for the 2021-2022 school year:
With students returning to school for five days of in-person instruction, the Food Service Department will no longer offer curbside meal distribution or pre-ordering for weekly pick-up.
All Keystone Oaks students are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch in school daily. Breakfast is served at the following times:
Aiken: 8:15 - 8:30 a.m.
Dormont: 7:50 - 8:10 a.m.
Myrtle: 8:15 - 8:35 a.m.
Keystone Oaks Middle School: 7:20 - 7:35 a.m.
Keystone Oaks High School: 7:20 - 7:40 a.m.
The Food Service Department will resume normal service operations with hot lunch options daily. Menus are now available on the District's website: https://www.kosd.org/FoodServices.aspx
Additionally, while it is not required, families are encouraged to fill out the Application for Free & Reduced Price Meals to ensure that up-to-date and accurate information is on file. Information is available on our website - https://www.kosd.org/FoodServices.aspx.
