Congratulations to the new officers of the 2019-2020 school year! Seniors will be graduating with black gowns at graduation this year to show off their positions earned. Kaylee will also be giving a speech at graduation.

When asked what excites Kaylee most about being the senior class president she replied, “to be considered the leader of such an awesome and amazing group.”

This group of students will take part in planning school activities, planning prom and much more. Some officers are hoping to see a few changes in the future.

Junior class treasurer, Sean Dobos is striving to “get news lockers, own personal chrome books, and an accessible microwave for students to use in the cafeteria.”

These students’ goal is to be able to participate more and have a say in things involved around the high school. They want to better Keystone Oaks and make it the best it can be.

What excites Sean Dobos most about being treasurer is “being able to have a say in more things.”

Junior class Vice President Paneri campaigned as well as other officers did around school. She branches out to make connections with a variety of students in the High School.

Her advice to future students running for office is, “if you have a strong stance on something that deserves attention, campaign to the best of your ability so that the issue is brought to light. Also, you want to appeal to people by your nature and go out of your comfort zone by talking to different groups of people.”

These students will meet over the course of the year with director of the class officers, teacher Mrs. Beth Smith. Make sure to congratulate your 2019-2020 class officers!
