Keystone Oaks Approves Athletic Health & Safety Plan
The Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors approved the Athletic Health & Safety Plan at a Special Voting Meeting on June 30, 2020. The Athletic Health & Safety Plan outlines the steps that the District will take to decrease the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for our staff, students, and spectators.

The Keystone Oaks School District will take the necessary precautions and recommendations from the federal, state, and local governments, the CDC, the Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH), as well as the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS), and the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) to safeguard the participants and staff of our athletic programs.

The Keystone Oaks School District realizes that knowledge regarding COVID-19 is continuously changing, as new information and treatments become available. The recommendations outlined in the Athletic Health & Safety Plan will be adjusted as needed as further information becomes available.

Keystone Oaks coaches, athletes, and parents/guardians are reminded that anyone who has been directly exposed to COVID-19 should self-quarantine for a period of 14 days, as per Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines, and not report to practice or competition; this applies even if you are not experiencing any symptoms. Anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19 and attends practice risks spreading the virus to others, which could ultimately result in the cancellation of athletic practices and competitions for all student athletes.
