The Keystone Oaks School District and the Keystone Oaks Education Association (KOEA) have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract for nearly 170 bargaining unit members.
Over the past several weeks, the Board of School Directors and KOEA have continued to negotiate as part of the arbitration process. Both sides were able to reach a tentative agreement without the arbiter issuing a ruling, which would have been presented by the arbitrator on Monday, April 19, 2021.
Both the Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors and KOEA must now ratify the agreement. The Board of School Directors has scheduled a Special Voting Meeting for 5 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 for the purpose of ratifying the contract.
More information will be communicated once the contract is ratified by both parties.
