Nominations being accepted for Senior Class Officers

This week, KOHS will be accepting nominations for Senior Class Officers. The role of the Senior Class Officers may be more important than ever this year, as the Keystone Oaks School District and Keystone Oaks High School will be relying on class leaders to plan and implement events and activities that will undoubtedly look different this year due to the guidelines that are currently in place to control the spread of the coronavirus. We will be relying on the class officers to share ideas, provide meaningful feedback, and ensure that the interests of the Class of 2021 are represented in all events, activities, and traditions.

If you are interested in running for a class officer position, or if you would like to nominate a classmate, please fill out this Google Form by 3 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020. Please be sure to read and review the expectations of a class officer and the roles and responsibilities of each position, which are available on the Google Form. You must be signed into your KOSD account to fill out the form. Class officer positions are open to any eligible current senior, regardless of which educational option you are currently participating in.

All candidates for a class officer position will be sent a Candidate Questionnaire, which will be due by Wednesday, October 7. The questionnaires will be published on Monday, October 12, which is when voting will open. Voting will be open through Wednesday, October 14 and the officers for the Class of 2021 will be announced on Friday, October 16.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mr. Linnert, High School Principal, [email protected], or Sarah Welch, Coordinator of Communications & Public Relations, [email protected]
