Keystone Oaks softball team is determined to sweep the section

The Keystone Oaks softball team has always had a positive run every season, and that’s just what they plan to do again this season. Their season just started a few weeks ago, but it already seems to be going in the right direction.
The girls are putting their hearts into the game they love to play. With seniors having their last season playing on a high school team, it’s bittersweet. Most have grown up playing this sport, and it has turn into their passion and life. The team, along with their coaches, have high hopes for this 2017 season.
Most of the players have said how excited they are for playing the teams in their division. “I’m very excited to play this season with all my best friends,” said Kiara Zaharko, a sophomore on the team.
Who wouldn’t be, right?
The freshmen on the team have all said they were all excited to play their first season of high school softball. The seniors said it’s bittersweet to see the days wind down as a high school softball player. It’s hard seeing anything come to an end.
As for the coach, he said that he expects huge things from the girls. They’ve put their blood, sweat, and tears into conditioning for this exciting season that has only just begun for these girls. He said it’s hard to see his seniors leave after this season, but has a positive outlook for the juniors, sophomores, and freshmen moving up next year. He expects big things from the freshmen as they enter their first season.
Softball has been an impact on most of these girls since they could hold a bat. It’s exciting to see their childhood dreams come true right in front of them. As the season begins for these competitive girls, make an effort to make it out to some of their games. Watch the seniors play their hearts out, along with the rest of the team.
