Keystone Oaks Statement on Vandalism at Dormont Memorial Stadium
Dear Keystone Oaks Parents/Guardians,

Today, Monday, January 15, 2018, while conducting a routine visit to Dormont Memorial Stadium, the District’s Buildings & Grounds employees discovered significant vandalism both outside and inside the stadium. The graffiti was inappropriate, discriminatory in nature and also included anti-Semitic symbols.

Keystone Oaks School District does not take incidents such as these lightly. We will investigate this incident thoroughly and will take legal action to ensure that the individual or individuals responsible for this crime are held accountable for their actions.

The graffiti has been removed by Keystone Oaks’ Buildings & Grounds employees. The incident has been referred to the Dormont Police Department and we are cooperating with the investigation. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Keystone Oaks School Resource Officer John Bruner at [email protected] or 412-571-6248.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

William P. Stropkaj, Ed.D.
