Swinging for Victory
The Keystone Oaks tennis team is in the middle of a good season with a record of 4-2 and just plans on getting better from there.

The team is led by captains Fiona Conner and Abby Trehy who have shown to be great team leaders and have been assets on the team. The team works well together and have been becoming closer as the season goes on. This only benefits them and will help with winning each game.

“Our team works very well together. We all get along so well and I believe that will take us far into the season with more and more wins. We obviously want to win but hopefully to improve individually and as a team,” said junior Johna Angle.
Freshman Zetta Randall agreed.
“I have not been able to play much because of an injury, but I do know the girls are really sweet and we all get along so well. Our team plays strong together and I love being able to call them my team,” said first year tennis player Randall.

The bond that they have together is what keeps them winning. But, like every team, they do have their own weaknesses, as well.

“I believe that one of our biggest strengths is the chemistry we all have together. We do our best to pick each other up when we aren’t playing our best that day. But we do sometimes get too down on ourselves, and I believe that it affects our playing sometimes,” says junior Angela Kirby.

Though they are still early in their season, they are optimistic about their chances this year and hope to keep up with where they are now and go far into the season.
