Keystone Oaks Hires Assistant High School Principal
The Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors approved the hiring of Michael Linnert as Assistant High School Principal at their monthly Business/Legislative Meeting on September 18, 2018. This is the first time in eight years that Keystone Oaks has had an administrator in this position.

Mr. Linnert has worked as the Assistant Principal at Clairton Middle/High School since 2016 and as the Athletic Director for the same school since 2013. He earned his M.S. in Instructional Leadership / Sports Management from Robert Morris University and his administration credentials from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Throughout his tenure with the Clairton City School District, Mr. Linnert created a professional learning community that encouraged best teacher practices, student engagement, and effective communication. He also implemented a restorative justice program that focused on building relationships, developing empathy, reducing suspensions and improving instruction.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Linnert to the administrative team at Keystone Oaks School District,” said Dr. William Stropkaj, Superintendent. “We look forward to his leadership and guidance as we continue to improve and enhance programs and services for the students of Keystone Oaks High School.”
