Diversity Expression Contest LogoAll Keystone Oaks students in grades k-12 are invited to participate in the District’s second annual Diversity Expression Contest. This year, students are asked to submit a writing or work of art that depicts the following theme -

Share or illustrate an act of kindness that you have implemented, or have observed, that has made Keystone Oaks a kinder, more inclusive school district and community.

Entries will be accepted through Friday, March 8, 2019. Winners will be announced in March and will be recognized at the Board of School Directors Meeting on April 9, 2019. Winning submissions will also be entered into the Allegheny County Human Relation Commission’s 2019 Diversity Awards contest.

All applicants will receive a certificate of participation from the Keystone Oaks School District. One winner from each grade cluster will be selected in each category. Each student will be presented with a small gift and a $25 gift card. The winning entries will be on display in Central Administration and in each building.
