Keystone Oaks outlines new process for reporting incidents of bullying, harassment
Over the past few years, Keystone Oaks’ Board of School Directors and administrative team have worked together to update the District’s policies, procedures and programs related to bullying and harassment. Keystone Oaks School District takes all reports of bullying and harassment seriously and is continually looking for ways to make it easier for students, staff, parents/guardians, and community members to report such incidents to building principals, administrators, and local law enforcement agencies.

In September, the District launched the Safe School Helpline, offering a convenient, confidential way to report information that may affect safety at our schools, including incidents of bullying, drug or alcohol abuse, harassment, and mental health concerns.

Now, Keystone Oaks School District is providing families with a second easy way to report incidents of bullying. The attached Incident Report Form provides parents and guardians with an easy-to-follow form to properly report the details of a situation involving bullying or harassment, even for situations that happen outside of the school day but may cause disruption once the student(s) involved return to school.

To file a report, please download and fill out the attached form and submit it to your building principal; please include as many details as you can and be as specific as possible. Once reviewed by the principal, the incident may be referred to the School Resource Office or the local police department. As always, you can contact your local police department directly to report serious incidents that happen outside of regular school hours.

Student safety is our number one priority and our goal is to do everything in our power to ensure that all Keystone Oaks students are educated in a safe environment, free from bullying and harassment.
