Reminders from Dormont Elementary School
School Zone & School Parking Lot Safety Remidner
A number of individuals have been observed driving too fast through the school zone around Dormont Elementary School. Please be reminded that anyone caught driving over the speed limit in a school zone could face a citation and a possible fine. For the safety of students and families that walk to and from school each down, please observe the spped limit around our school.

When you drop off your child or children, please have them exit the vehicle on the curbside. This helps ensure that adults don't run the risk of hitting a child as they move around the loop. Also, to help the "flow" of drop off, we ask that the children exit the car and the parent/guardian move on. If there is a need to visit the school, please park in the parking lot.

At the end of the day, if your child is going to play on the blacktop with friends, please do not park in the circle. Please park in the lot below. This will dismissal traffic to flow quickly and efficiently.
