The Westinghouse Science Honors Institute is a forum for
talented high school juniors to gain exposure to the latest advances in
science, technology and engineering. Students from Keystone Oaks were
part of over 400 area high school juniors who participated in the 2020
Westinghouse Science Honors Institute. Congratulations!
FBLA:
Congratulations to our winners in the Virtual version of the FBLA, State
Leadership Conference which was held on line on Friday, May 15, 2020. Top 10
awards are presented annually at this conference. All members of both
of these teams will be receiving a trophy from the PA FBLA State Office.
**Taking an 8th place in Entrepreneurship: Mark
Hutchin, Rutger Randall and Zack Taylor
**Taking a 3rd place and qualifying for the
National Leadership Conference (Experience) which will be held the last week of
June are: Sports and Entertainment Management: Luke Grabowski, Patrick Simmons
and Ethan VonHedemann. This team would have been heading to Salt
Lake City, Utah, for the National Conference if we were not under the current
restrictions.
We wish them all the best moving forward and representing
Keystone Oaks High School, Region 10 and the State of Pennsylvania in this very
prestigious accomplishment! #KOPROUD
