Two KOHS Students Named "Students of the Month" at Parkway West Career & Technical Center
Two Keystone Oaks' students have been recognized as "Students of the Month" at the Parkway West Career & Technology Center.

Dehlen Urban was named the Parkway West Career & Technology Center's AM Student of the Month for April.

Dehlen is a senior at Keystone Oaks High School and is a fourth year student at Parkway. Dehlen successfully completed the construction rotation as a freshman picking HVAC as an area of concentration. Upon the closure of the HVAC program, Dehlen selected the Electrical Systems program and has had a successful experience for two years (including, perfect attendance for the 2015-16 school year). Dehlen worked at 3 Rivers Dodge and Jeep and continues to work the family business. When he’s not working, you can find Dehlen at the “Pittsburgh Boxing Company” training or performing community service at the facility. After graduation Dehlen plans on working the family business (they manage almost 50 properties) and eventually starting an HVAC business with his brother Trevor, who is also a Parkway West CTC alum.

Douglas Sabo was named the Parkway West Student of the Month for January. Doug is a third year PW student and is an 11th grader at Keystone Oaks. He runs track and cross country for Keystone Oaks and is a member of the adventure and outdoors clubs. At PW Doug is a member of the National Technical Honor Society, Skills USA, and Student Council. He works at Eat-n-Park and at Staples. Doug’s family’s house was destroyed in a fire and he has been working with his father to rebuild the entire house.
