The Board of School Directors appointed Mr. Scott Mizikar to the position of Principal at Myrtle Avenue Elementary School, effective March 21, 2018. Mr. Mizikar has worked as the Interim Principal at Myrtle Elementary since May 2017. 

Mr. Mizikar has worked for the Keystone Oaks School District since 2001 and has taught seventh grade geography, eighth grade history, and also spent one year as the Dean of Students at the Middle School.  He taught fourth grade at Dormont Elementary for 11 years prior to his appointment as Interim Principal.

 

"Mr. Mizikar has worked tirelessly to provide a supportive, safe, and nurturing educational environment for all students at Myrtle Elementary, and I am confident that he will continue to be a leader, both at Myrtle Elementary School, and as part of the Keystone Oaks School District’s administrative team," Superintdent Dr. William Stropkaj said.
