Keystone Oaks School District, in cooperation with State Representative Dan Miller and the Pennsylania Attorney General's Office, is hosting a Social Media Safety presentation on Wednesday, April 4, beginning at 7 pm in the Middle School LGI. The event is open to the public.
The presentation will include a special emphasis on child trafficking and will help participants learn appropriate privacy settings for various apps and how to monitor your children's screen time and social media interactions.
Keystone Oaks Mental Health Therapist Sarah Hazlett is among the presenters and will discuss the impacts of social media on mental health. Middle School Librarian Allyson Hepler will also be on hand to share resources from Common Sense Media.
