10 Students Receive Awards from The Challenge Program

10 high school students were recently recognized by The Challenge Program, Inc. (TCP) for achievements in attendance, STEM, community service, academic improvement and academic excellence during the 2015-2016 school year.

The goal of The Challenge Program is to connect the business and education sectors to introduce students to careers and motivate them to develop the skill sets required to succeed in the workforce. The program is sponsored locally by Carpenter Power Products, which provides each winning student with $200 check.

Recipients of the awards:

Attendance Award - Jacqueline Garcia and Lena Grogan; STEM Award - Nathan Taylor and Morgan Collavo; Community Service Award - Charles Boone and Olivia Getty; Academic Improvement - Tabitha Corwin and Andrew DeCollo; and Academic Excellence - Allison Karp and Jessica Timczyk.
