Winter Weather Closing & Delay Letter
The beginning of October and arrival of cooler temperatures serves as a good reminder to familiarize yourself with the District's procedures for delaying or closing school during inclement weather conditions. Read the letter below from Dr. Stropkaj and take a few minutes to ensure that your contact information is accurate in the School Messenger system.
To update your contact information in School Messenger, parents/guardians should:
- Log into the PowerSchool Parent Portal - https://powerschool.kosd.org/public/
- Click on the menu icon in the top right hand corner and choose "School Messenger"
- This will log you into School Messenger, where you can update or modify your phone, text and e-mail preferences
