Studio & Stage Event Set for All Three Elementary Schools in May
Launched in 2016 at Dormont Elementary School, Studio and Stage is a family night of fine arts celebration that gives students and their families the opportunity to share and practice the skills and concepts that are fundamental to Keystone Oaks’ fine arts curriculum. Last year, workshops included origami, wind chimes, puppets, kites, percussion instrument making & performance and a drum circle.
This year, Studio & Stage will be expanded to all three elementary schools. Registration for Keystone Oaks students and families opens on March 3, 2017 at www.studioandstage.org. Studio & Stage will be held on the following dates:

Leading up the events, the elementary art and music teachers are seeking donations of the following items:
- Old sneakers, any size
- Mismatched silverware
- Plastic grocery bags
- Old keys
- Costume jewelry
- Mismatched mittens
- Old neckties
- Decks of cards
- Miniature toy cars
- Plastic produce containers
- Yarn
Items can be dropped off at the main office of each elementary school during normal office hours.
In addition to donations, volunteers are also needed to help coordinate and oversee the various activities. Middle and high school students, parents/guardians and members of the community (with required clearances) are welcome to volunteer.
