Laura Poliziani, a fifth grade student at Aiken Elementary School in Green Tree, recently won the Pittsburgh Penguins' "Stanley Cup Playoffs Art & Essay Contest." The contest, which was open to students in Grades 1-12 throughout Allegheny County, was designed to promote the team's run through the Stanley Cup playoffs and encouraged students to creatively demonstrate their support.
