Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors Elects Officers for 2017
The Keystone Oaks Board of School Directors elected Matthew Cesario as president and Donald Howard as vice president during their December 6th Reorganization Meeting.  
Keystone Exams Begin December 6
Please be sure that your child arrives to school promptly at 7:45 on testing days.  
Celebrate the holiday season with upcoming Middle, High School Concerts
Mark your calendars for December 8 and December 14 and plan to attend the holiday performances. A Winter Art Show will also be part of the Middle School event.  
Myrtle Avenue Elementary ranked in top 5% of Title I schools in Pennsylvania
This is the third consecutive year that Myrtle Avenue Elementary has received a High Achievement designation.  
Class of 2017 Hosting Blood Drive December 16
The public is welcome to donate in the gym lobby between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. or at any local Central Blood Bank.  
High School Track to Close at Dusk Daily
Due to safety concerns, the High School Track will close at dusk daily.

November "Highlighting Excellence" Presentation Showcases Student, Staff Achievements
The monthly presentation highlights the ways in which students and staff members are excelling in academics, arts and athletics and are demonstrating leadership inside the classroom and in the community.  
Congratulations to Fall Sports Teams and Athletes
Various Keystone Oaks sports teams have advanced to the playoffs and individual athletes have been recognized for their accomplishments.  
American Indian Ethnologist Visit 5th Grade Students at Dormont
Bob Schwartz, who many students know as the driver for Bus #11, is one of 23 American Indian Ethnologists in the United States. 
Elementary Students Complete Projects as Part of Global Cardboard Challenge
Students created their own arcade games, based on the short film Caine's Arcade.  
Middle School Student Wins Young Playwrights Contest
Abbi Over won the 2015-16 contest, which is hosted by City Theatre.
